I was referred to Dr El-Jassar in Feb 2021 for a septorhinioplasty due to multiple nose injuries from sports. I was really struggling with my breathing but Dr El-Jassar was excellent and very open and honest about the processes. The operation was a great success and I can finally breath out of my nose and this had made a huge difference in my life and my overall wellbeing.

I was referred to Mr Jassar following a previous procedure (septoplasty) I had two years ago that was unsuccessful. I was concerned that the shape of my nose was prohibiting my breathing and that the issue was beyond just my septum. Mr Jassar listened to all of my concerns and understood how emotional it was for me as my breathing had severely diminished. I was unhappy with how my nose looked, particularly as my septum hung out of my nose and was visibly distorted. I never felt rushed as Mr Jassar spent a lot of time discussing my options with me. The functionality of my nose was my top priority but Mr Jassar was able to straighten things out to make sure they were working properly. The surgery was a lot more intense than expected and I am so grateful for Mr Jassar’s hard work and attentiveness, checking up on me on multiple occasions post-surgery as I was in a bad way. My breathing is so good now that I cried when I breathed properly for the first time. After my discharge, Mr Jassar expressed that if I had any concerns, especially with the failure of my last surgery, that he would always be there. I have had a lot of surgeries in my life already, but Mr Jassar’s care and attentiveness was truly unparalleled. He put me at ease in every aspect and was friendly from start to finish. I felt I could comfortably tell him anything and he truly had my best wishes and what I wanted at heart. Thank you again Mr Jassar.

18 months ago Mr Jassar operated on me, reconstructing my nose with rib graft. The appearance of my nose before the operation had left me feeling self conscious and anxious. Now I have a nose that is straighter and stronger and I am so glad that I went through with the procedure. Without Mr Jassar's kind, empathetic approach, I would have felt much more nervous. His calm and thorough guidance and advice has always left me reassured and I appreciate that he understands the emotional side of having such major surgery, as well as the physical changes that a patient undertakes. I cannot recommend him and his team highly enough. Outstanding care from start to finish.
